Chandel Engineering Private Limited, formerly known as Chandel Industries, was established by Mr. Jagdish Singh Chandel in the year 1980. The foundry was set up in Fazal Ganj, Kanpur and was involved in the manufacturing of automobile castings under its own brand name.

In 1985, Mr. Harsh Kumar Chandel, the current managing director, joined hands with his father. Under his leadership and guidance, the firm was soon incorporated as Chandel Engineering Private Limited and the company shifted its manufacturing unit from Fazal Ganj to Panki Industrial Area, Kanpur to expand its production. It is located 15kms from Kanpur central railway station. The company got accredited with ISO 9001:2008 certification in the year 2003. With the subsequent growth in business, additional plot was acquired and the manufacturing plant is now currently spread across an area of 7932 square meter and is fully equipped with the latest machineries to meet the current quality demands. The current installed capacity is 3500 metric tonnes which we plan to expand to 5200 metric tonnes in near future. The company is currently involved in manufacturing of Cast iron, S G iron and steel castings and fully machined components for looms, tape lines, general engineering, heavy machinery, mining industries, earth moving machines, railway castings, pump castings, castings for power, defence and automobile sector.
